Advocacy
- AIDS Thunder Bay works to improve the social, political, and medical environment for individuals and the community.
- We actively participate in provincial and national AIDS organizations to influence the larger environment.
- We advocate for social justice issues that affect individual clients, the agency, and the community.
- AIDS Thunder Bay is a founding and active member of our national association, the Canadian AIDS Society as well as our provincial organization, the Ontario AIDS Network. Through these partnerships with sister community-based agencies, we advocate on a broad range of HIV/AIDS related issues that may require provincial or national attention.
- Here in Thunder Bay we advocate through various community partnerships, committees and the media. These include: the Joint Advisory Committee [Superior Points Harm Reduction Program (TBDHU) and Injection Drug Use Outreach Program (ATB)] and the Thunder Bay Economic Justice Committee.

Please feel free to contact us about questions, concerns, or suggestions you might have about advocacy.
