Anonymous HIV Testing
Test is done with numbered code that cannot be linked to your name. Pre and post test counselling is provided. Anonymous testing is done by appointment. Call 807-625-5981.
Sites at AIDS Thunder Bay and Thunder Bay District Health Unit (or ask about other possible sites). You should ask for anonymous testing, as TBHU may not automatically offer it, or even suggest it as a possible option.
Health Centre / Family Physician:
By appointment. The test may be done with your name or a code that is linked to your name. Counselling varies, depending on the health centre or doctor.
Sexual Health Clinics:
Clinics are walk-in or by appointment. Tests are done with a code that is linked to your name (a Health Card is not required.). Pre and post test counselling is provided.

Call for days and times.
There is no charge to the individual for the test, and an Ontario Health card is not required for anonymous testing, or at a sexual health clinic.
