The 2010 Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life in Thunder Bay will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010.

Opening remarks followed by warm up exercises: 1:30 p.m.
Walk starts around 1:45 p.m.

Please feel free to bring a chair to relax while watching the entertainment!
Register online and create your walker profile with details about why you are walking, your pledge collecting goal, photos and more. If the majority or all of your pledges are processed online, you don’t have to worry about keeping tack of the amounts you collect. This means less work for you! Registering online makes the process easy and convenient for both the walker and the donor. As a walker, pledge sheets and tools are at your finger tips. You can print pledge forms as needed and record cash and cheque pledges. The fun part is that your totals will show up on a scoreboard! You can challenge friends and family members to take part as well. Donors can make secure online pledges using Visa and Master Card. They immediately receive a tax receipt for their contribution. You are then notified through email that you have received a pledge. No need to worry about typing, the online program provides you with thank you notes, recruitment letters and more! Please note: if you register online, AIDS Thunder Bay will drop off or mail you a walker number and collection envelopes to be used the day of the walk. If you are going door to door collecting pledges you must receive a Walker ID badge from AID Thunder Bay.

Comfort: Wear comfortable & appropriate footwear for walking. Also, bring a chair so you can relax while enjoying the entertainment!
Parking:
Parking is available next door to the agency. Please note, vehicles are not permitted in the agency parking lot. The front of the building is designated as accessible parking.

Walk Route: The walk is a little over 4 km (all on city sidewalks) lead by route marshals, with road crossing assistance provided by the Thunder Bay Police.

Rick is taking part in the festivities of the Thunder Bay AIDS Walk between 12:30 & 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 19.
